Louis Theroux to Host Live Events in Dundee and Edinburgh
Louis Theroux will hold a live event titled ‘An Evening with Louis Theroux’ in Dundee on May 21, 2026. This event is part of a broader initiative to engage audiences with his unique storytelling style, which has earned him three BAFTAs, an RTS award, and the Grierson Trustees’ Award.
Following the Dundee event, Theroux will perform in Edinburgh on May 22, 2026. Tickets for the Dundee event are currently on sale, while tickets for the Edinburgh show will be available starting at 11am on Wednesday. Approximately 4,000 tickets are expected to go on sale for both events.
Theroux’s career began in the mid-1990s after graduating from Oxford, where he worked with American filmmaker Michael Moore on the programme TV Nation. He is well-known for creating the BAFTA-winning series ‘Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends’ and ‘When Louis Met…’, which delve into complex social issues and unusual communities.
In addition to his documentary work, Theroux has also written books and hosts the BBC Sounds podcast ‘Grounded with Louis Theroux’. His latest documentary focused on Israeli settlers in the West Bank, further showcasing his commitment to exploring intricate societal themes.
Recently, Theroux collaborated with Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, on a new JD x Nike range that launched on March 5, 2026. This collaboration aims to spotlight individuals who have made their mark in culture, reflecting Theroux’s interest in impactful storytelling.
In the JD x Nike campaign, Theroux was seen wearing a jacket priced at £90 and a graphic tee costing £35, which has drawn attention from fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.
