Departure Announcement
On March 10, 2026, Heeseung announced his departure from ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career. This decision comes after six years of performing with the group, during which he played a pivotal role as the oldest member at 24 years old.
Heeseung debuted with ENHYPEN on November 30, 2020, following the survival program I-LAND. His departure marks the first lineup change for ENHYPEN since its inception, a notable shift for the group and its fans.
Group’s Future
Following Heeseung’s announcement, ENHYPEN will continue as a six-member group, consisting of Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. BELIFT LAB confirmed that the group will maintain its activities without Heeseung, stating, “As such, Heeseung will be parting ways with ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue its activities as a 6-member group starting from official schedules going forward.”
In a heartfelt message, Heeseung expressed gratitude to his bandmates and fans, saying, “Thanks to the members with whom I shared countless emotions, and to ENGENE, who always filled every empty space with their support, I was able to take step after step toward a dream that once felt out of reach.”
Looking Ahead
Heeseung will remain signed to BELIFT LAB while preparing a solo album, although details about the album have not yet been announced. BELIFT LAB emphasized Heeseung’s distinct musical vision, indicating that his solo endeavors will reflect his personal artistic direction.
ENHYPEN’s last mini album, THIS SIN: VANISH, was released in January 2026, showcasing the group’s continued evolution and musical exploration. The remaining members are expected to adapt to this new chapter while honoring the legacy Heeseung helped build.
