GTA VI: Take-Two CEO Confirms Release Date and Fair Pricing
Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick has announced that GTA VI will launch on November 19, 2026, in Vice City, following a delay from its original May release. He also hinted at a fair price for the game but did not specify an exact figure.
GTA VI is expected to be one of the biggest releases in gaming history, with projections estimating 1 billion dollars in pre-order sales. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a PC version anticipated by the end of 2027.
Zelnick emphasized that game pricing has become more reasonable over the years despite inflation. Historically, major game releases have been priced around 60 to 70 dollars. However, there are speculations that GTA VI could be priced as high as 100 dollars.
The game’s map will reportedly include Vice City and is rumored to be the largest in the series. This follows a trend where open-world games have increasingly expanded their environments to enhance player experience.
The first trailer for GTA VI initially set a release year of 2025, which was later revised to 2026. This shift reflects Rockstar Games’ commitment to delivering a high-quality product, as Zelnick stated: “We support fully Rockstar Games taking additional time to realize their creative vision for Grand Theft Auto VI.”
Currently, GTA VI is available for wishlisting on both Xbox and PlayStation stores. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see what new features and gameplay elements will be introduced.
No timeline has been shared regarding the exact price of GTA VI or its official PC release date. As the launch date approaches, more details are likely to emerge.
