Liverpool Transfer News: Reds Contact Real Madrid for Camavinga, Diomande Favours PSG
Liverpool have reportedly made contact regarding Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, as the club continues to pursue new additions under manager Andoni Iraola. This development comes as officials are said to be flying in for transfer discussions concerning other players.
The Reds have already secured the signings of Victor Munoz from Osasuna and Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes this summer. However, further activity is anticipated as the team prepares for the upcoming Premier League season, following a fifth-place finish in the previous campaign.
One player who appears to be moving away from Anfield is Yan Diomande. Despite Liverpool’s reported interest, The Athletic claims the RB Leipzig winger has chosen Paris Saint-Germain as his preferred next destination. However, it is understood that Camavinga has expressed no desire to leave the Bernabeu. He reportedly wishes to impress incoming manager Jose Mourinho and has instructed his representatives to disregard any potential bids.
The potential departure of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG could create an opening for Diomande at the French club. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus officials are travelling to France for talks with PSG regarding a potential transfer for Muani. If PSG can secure a significant fee for him, it could help fund a move for Diomande, potentially dashing Liverpool’s hopes for the winger.
Another winger, Maghnes Akliouche of AS Monaco, has also been linked with Liverpool. However, TEAMtalk reported that Akliouche has reportedly given the green light to join PSG, with talks already underway between PSG and Monaco for the attacking midfielder.
